Will work for accessories

Recently I had the opportunity to cut some vinyl for a little boutique here in Prosser. Some of you may know it Get A Grip. I stopped in there one afternoon, just to check things out and discovered that she had not done much in the way of decorating. I gave her my card and we got to visiting. The next thing you know I am doing my first window display for a business. Very exciting!! We found that we both had something the other person wanted so we decided to work it out in trade. I got the cutest little purse and pair of flip flops. Hope she needs more vinyl in the near future. There is lots more I would be willing to trade for.

Cousin Dawson's Birthday Party

We had fun today with Cousin Dawson at his birthday party. It was held at Hubby’s Pizza in Kennewick. Dawson really raked it in receiving all kinds of cool gifts like air soft guns and air hog remote control toys, oh and did I mention a cell phone. The older they get, the more complicated their toys get.

We had the opportunity to meet some of Jill and Dustin’s friends. They were all a very nice bunch of people.

Cameron earned his Bear Badge

It was a big night for Cameron as he earned his Cub Scout Bear Badge tonight at our Pack Meeting. It’s always such a relief to get a milestone accomplished in the Cub Scout program. The sad part is it only gets harder from here.

He worked very hard to get it all finished before his birthday. The Bear Badge covered lots of cool things like folklore, things he can do to take care of our planet, being ready for an emergency, what makes America special and much more. He had lots of fun, and is ready to move on to the Webelos program in May.

Great Job Cameron!!! We are proud of you. :-)

2009 Firefighter Stair Climb

The 2009 Firefighter Stair Climb for Leukemia Lymphoma in Seattle Wa. was this last weekend. 69 flights of stairs in full firefighter combat gear, weighing approximately 50 lbs. I had the opportunity of attending this year as the Sunnyside team photographer. It was so awesome. There were firefighters there from the U.S., Canada, Germany and New Zealand.

There were approximately 1,550 firemen. Ryan finished in 19:00 min flat. Very cool. He ranked in 423rd place. More importantly thanks to friends and family Ryan was able to raise almost $500 in donations for the Leukemia Lymphoma foundation.

As team captain Ryan convinced 4 other Sunnyside firemen to join him this year. For only having 13 paid firefighters, 5 climbers is pretty exciting.

A day with Ryno.

Friday I spent the day with Ryno taking more senior pics. I went to Echo so that we could take pics on his home turf. We laughed and laughed and had a great time. The pictures were taken out on the Ramos’s farm and around the little town of Echo.
